our Wild Wales climbing courses we try to give
you an experience that is unique and memorable – one in fact that
lives up to our name! Our starting point is the belief that there is more
to the climb than the climb itself. We give you an opportunity to experience
the wilder side of Snowdonia and North Wales.
Wild Wales climbing routes
Weather permitting, we explore classic climbs in high mountain terrain, away from the queues that are often found on roadside crags. We prefer long multi pitch climbs emerging on or near the summits of mountains like Tryfan, Glyder Fawr, the Carneddau or Lliwedd. In doing this our aim is to give you a complete mountain experience, enhanced and made more intensely memorable by the fact that it is shared with others.
Flexibility
is important to us – not only in relation to such unavoidable factors
as prevailing weather conditions but also to your own wishes and goals.
We believe we are second to none in putting your satisfaction (dreams,
even!) at the top of our list of priorities.
Wild Wales climbing guides and equipment
The Wild Wales climbing weekends are led by well qualified, and experienced mountain guides who know the climbing routes well, and who are keen to share their knowledge. We can provide harnesses, helmets, a limited choice of climbing shoes (which can otherwise be hired locally) and all technical equipment. Previous climbing experience is useful but not essential.
